Cluster University Jammu 1st Semester BBA Financial Accounting Previous Year Question Paper

The Previous Year Question Paper of “Financial Accounting” in the 1st semester BBA at Cluster University Jammu is the most feared-yet-most-scoring paper that decides whether a student will top the university or struggle throughout the programme. This 3-hour, 70-mark paper (plus 30 marks internal) is purely numerical + theory. Section A contains 10 compulsory short questions/theory on accounting concepts, conventions, IFRS, journal entries, subsidiary books, and bank reconciliation. Section B has 5/7 medium numericals on journal entries, ledger posting, trial balance, rectification of errors, and depreciation (SLM & WDV). Section C carries 3/5 long practical questions — Final Accounts of sole proprietor (Trading, P&L, Balance Sheet with adjustments), Bank Reconciliation Statement with 15–20 items, and Depreciation + Provision/Discount schedules. Every year at least one 20-mark question is directly repeated from the last 5–7 years. Students who solve the last 10 years’ papers under timed conditions never score below 90 and many hit 98–100. Toppers maintain a personal “Adjustment & Closing Entry Master Book”. This question paper is therefore not just an exam — it is the ultimate foundation for CA-Foundation, CMA-Foundation, CS-Executive, MBA entrances, JKSSB Accounts Assistant, Bank PO, and campus placements in Big-4, EY, Deloitte, KPMG, and every finance role. Practising it repeatedly turns a commerce fresher into a confident accountant who can prepare error-free final accounts within the very first semester. (332 words)
