Fundamentals of Business Studies (Course Code usually COM-102C or Core-102) is a 4-credit Core Course under NEP-2020 at Cluster University Jammu, designed to give holistic understanding of modern business environment and organisation. Unit-wise Syllabus & Marks Distribution: Unit I: Nature & Purpose of Business (18 marks) → Concept, characteristics, objectives of business; economic vs non-economic activities; business vs profession vs employment; classification of business activities (industry & commerce); business risk – nature & causes.
